Wellness is more than the food we eat and the way we move our bodies. It includes our relationships with God, self, and others, our thoughts and beliefs, our interactions with our environment, and the way we spend our resources like time and money.
Mark 12:30 says to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength." We bring all of who we are to God and dedicate ourselves to the work he has called us. As we work toward health in these areas, we can serve God and others well.
We are called to "act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God" (Micah 6:8). This means we are committed to a posture of learning while following Christ and his example of love and justice. We work to remove barriers to health and promote dignity for all.
To build wellness into one's life, one builds new habits to replace old patterns of thought and behaviour. We would love to work with you in building patterns of health into your lifestyle. From daily prayer and meditation, regular movement and nourishment, to reducing harmful environmental exposures, you can work toward your goals and build a life of passion and purpose.
